NICOLAS PARISER

Director

Nicolas Pariser was born in Paris in 1974.

After studying law, philosophy, art history and cinema, in the early 2000s he was a film critic for Sofa magazine then worked for four years with by Pierre Rissient.

Between 2008 and 2013, he directed three short films of which the medium length film La République, Grand Prix France in Brive in 2010.

His first feature film, Le Grand Jeu, won the Louis-Delluc prize for best first film in 2015.

Alice et le maire, his second feature film, is selected for the Directors’ Fortnight at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
